The Tsavo Conservation Area covers more than 42,000 km², larger than Switzerland. It holds Kenya’s single largest elephant population, one of the world’s last viable population of Super Tuskers, and around a quarter of Kenya’s black rhinos. The Kenya Wildlife Service and the Wildlife Research and Training Institute lead conservation across this landscape, and, guided by a formal partnership agreement, Tsavo Trust is proud to support our key partners in delivering their mandate and contributing to many and varying conservation activities on a daily basis.
